Do you teach bagpipes?

Yes! You're never too old to start. All you need is The College of Piping Tutor 1 (I sell them for $32, comes with a CD) and a practice chanter. See Instructions for New Students for more information about learning the bagpipes.

Aren't bagpipes just for funerals?

Bagpipes are played at all occasions - a very versatile instrument, both upbeat, and somber. For weddings and parties, I generally play upbeat tunes, and for funerals, slow airs. But you may request any kind of tune you wish.

I'm not Scottish or Irish - can I have bagpipes at my ceremony?

Yes! Bagpipes are for everyone. I play for traditional, as well as non-traditional events, for all denominations and cultures.

What if it rains on the day of our event?

I won't even notice - we Scots are tough! I play rain, shine, in snow, heatwaves, hurricanes, tornados, tidalwaves, earthquakes... Braveheart wasn't fiction!
